The band is comprised of some of Brisbane’s finest players, Mark Henman known for his work with Afro Dizi Act, Resin Dogs, Band of Frequencies and Numbers Radio, David Orr for his work with Hip Pocket and Numbers Radio and Chris Pearson with his bass work for the internationally acclaimed Ten Tenors and indie band Washington.

The Satellites play a combination of originals and covers such as Hendrix, Ray Charles and underground funk bands like The Poets of Rhythm.
